Dress Code / Requirements

Major Oak Safety Training recommends that all course participants dress in a manner befitting the course being undertaken. Generally, we suggest neat casual clothing that is both practical and comfortable. Footwear should be as appropriate to the course, but always fully covered and secure – not open sandals or jandals.

For health and safety many of our courses require that a safety vest be worn whilst on site in workplaces on site and around vehicles and/or equipment. Trainees may supply a Safety Vest of their own during training or Major Oak Safety Training will provide one where required. In the event that Major Oak Safety Training provides a safety vest a refundable deposit of $10.00 may be requested on issue. The deposit will be refunded on return of the vest.

You may also want to bring a hat and sunglasses to assist in your own safety and comfort. If you need corrective glasses for eyesight, then you should ensure that they are brought with you and used.

All other specialist equipment and PPE will be provided by M.O.S.T
