Course Aim
This course is based on industry best practice and designed for people with experience in the rigging, slinging loads in a stevedoring / vessel crane operation environments.

Combining theory and practical assessments participants will demonstrate the following skills.

Theory and practical assessments covering the following: 

  • Inspect and evaluate lifting gear
  • Identify hazards
  • Explain lifting gear ranges and charts

  • No Prerequisites

20053: 
Demonstrate knowledge of the care and handling of cargo lifting equipment and safe slinging of loads - Level 2, Credits 3

Attendance Numbers: Minimum 1 - maximum 7 

Course Duration: Full day course

Course Location: TBC

Course Costs: $1,700.00+gst per day

Transit Days: $1,200.00+gst + .95c+gst per km 

All other associated costs to be priced at the time including but not limited to flights, accommodation & meal allowances. 

(Minimum number charges will be applied if minimum numbers are not met)
