Working At Height Rescue Planning And Techniques

Course Overview
Custom working at Heights rescue course delivered on-site or at our facility, giving trainees both the theory and practical knowledge to ensure they are well equipped to plan for and carry out rescue situations with different techniques and equipment including rescuing others as well as self rescue.

When delivered at our facility the course will involve multiple scenarios using our custom built and dedicated facility.

Non unit standard based 

Course Prerequisites

  • Unit Standard 23229: Use safety harness system when working at height 
  • Use of a training room for the duration of the course (if on clients site)
  • Safety footwear
  • Use of certified working at heights PPE including, helmets, harness, lanyard, fall arrest devices used in workplace, high-viz vests, rescue equipment (if on clients site)
  • Copies of company templates for emergency rescue plan, job safety analysis, equipment checklist is specific to working at heights

(If you do not have these currently in place this course will teach you, and enable you to write and implement them for your business).

We will provide examples and templates for the training.

Attendance Numbers: Minimum 4 - maximum 10 

Course Duration: Approx. 8 hours

Course Location: TBC

Course Cost: $360.00+gst per person

Mileage: $100+gst to Auckland, Hamilton & Tauranga and .95c+gst per km everywhere else

(Minimum number charges will be applied if minimum numbers not met)
