Crawler Crane Unit Standard 27676

Trainees will be able to apply theory and skills in lifting and placing loads with a crawler crane minimum capacity 30,000kg’s and analyse and evaluate processes, through practical experience.

This course is based on coaching and assessment only and is designed for trainees with experience in mobile crane operation.

Combining theory and practical assessments participants will demonstrate the following skills.

Course Overview
Theory and practical assessments covering the following:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of using a track crawler crane
  • Configure and position a track crawler crane;
  • Lift and place regular and irregular loads with a track crawler crane;
  • Place a track crawler crane with a lattice boom in out-of-service condition, and complete documentation;
  • Carry out daily and weekly safety and maintenance of a track crawler crane with a lattice boom

 

Pre-Requisites
Evidence of 6 months experience in an environment where cranes are operating.

Unit Standard 3789 Sling regular loads and communicate during crane operations
30072 is now a pre requirement for holding 3789 if you do not hold these unit please contact us to deliver these for you.
