Course Aim
Trainees will be able to apply theory and practical skills in basic load slinging knowledge and slinging varied loads and communicating with a crane operator through practical experience.
It is designed to take people with little or no experience as Dogman on to the next stage of their career by being gaining experience, time and knowledge in a controlled real crane environment to be able to successfully complete their assessment in slinging loads and communicating during crane operations.
This course is includes full training sessions of theory, simulation, and actual 25t mobile crane and truckloader crane operations followed by final assessment.
Course Overview
All crane, lifting equipment, simulator and access to loads is fully included in the course.

NZQA Unit Standard
30072: Demonstrate and apply knowledge of slinging regular loads safely- Level 3 Credits 14
3789: Sling regular loads and safely direct a crane during crane operations- Level 3 Credits 15
Attendance Numbers: Maximum 4 per session
