Lift Planning and Documentation Unit Standard 31904

Course Aim
This course is designed for dogman or crane/site supervisors that wish to obtain formal recognition in the area of lift planning and documentation.

It can be grouped together with our Crane/Site Supervisors course if requested. 

Course Overview
Theory and practical assessments covering the following: 

  • Plan and document lifts of regular and irregular loads
  • Develop and document the lift plan
  • Develop and document a lift plan for doing a tandem and/or multi-crane lift.

 Prerequisites

  • Unit Standard 3789 (Dogman) Sling varied regular loads and safely direct a crane
    during crane operations.
  • If grouped with Crane/Site Supervisors course the candidate must be in a role where they can demonstrate they are leading/supervising a team or working towards it with a current employer.

31904: Plan and document lifts of regular and irregular loads using multiple cranes  -  Level 4, Credits 20

Attendance Numbers: Minimum 1 - maximum
Course Duration: Approx. 6-8hrs dependent on experience

Course Location: TBC

Course Costs: $1,200.00+gst per person 

Mileage$100.00+gst to Auckland, Hamilton & Tauranga and .95c+gst per km everywhere else.

(Minimum number charges will be applied if minimum numbers are not met)
