Course Overviews
All prices are based on the use of our truck or the customer supplying the correct class of vehicle, please confirm which option you would like;
If a Trainee is enrolling on a vehicle driver license or endorsement course including but not limited to Car Lessons, Class 2-5 Trucks, W,T,R,F,D or V endorsements that the trainee clearly checks the pre requirement for class of license and duration stated on the course proposal or booking sheet. M.O.S.T will do our best to confirm prior to the course with the trainee, but it is the trainee who is responsible for confirming their own situation before booking a course.
The Trainee on all license and endorsement courses must also bring their physical driver license on each and every day of the enrolled course to be sited by the instructor, this can be a temporary paper license or a full photo license. If a temporary paper license trainees are encouraged to also bring a separate form of photo identification. NO PHYSICAL LICENSE, NO COURSE ATTENDANCE and the trainee will be released from the course and treated as a non attendance in line with our cancelation policy
Course prerequisites
- As outlined above per class
- Must have a medical certificate completed & signed by doctor - no older than 60 days
- Must have a class 1 NZ full licence for minimum 6 months
- Use of a training room for the duration of the course if on your site
- Safety footwear
- Use of correct class road worthy and legal vehicle if not using our trucks
CLASS 2 Price includes GST & Licence fees if applicable
- NZQA Unit Standards 24089 & 17574
- 3-day full course from learners to full $1,100.00 client supplied vehicle (must be loaded to 50% GVM or over 6,000kgs)
- $1,200.00 M.O.S.T supplied vehicle @ our Centre in Paeroa
- 2-day (have learner’s licence) $1,000.00 client supplied vehicle (must be loaded to 50% GVM or over 6,000kgs) logbook assessment and practical assessment
- $1,150.00 M.O.S.T supplied vehicle @ our Centre in Paeroa
- 1 day assessment drive only (must hold logbook 24089 and provide Logbook NZTA certificate) $750.00 client supplied vehicle (must be loaded to 50% GVM or over 6,000kgs)
- $800.00 M.O.S.T supplied vehicle @ our Centre in Paeroa
- On successful completion the participant receives NZTA Certificate, which the applicant then takes to VTNZ / AA to have loaded on their licence
Course Numbers apply only for customer sites: Minimum 2 - maximum 4
Mileage only applicable for us to come to customer sites: $120.00+gst to Auckland, Hamilton & Tauranga and $1.00+gst per km everywhere else assessor only. If use of our heavy vehicle is required on customer site mileage charges will need to be quoted per job.
(Minimum number charges will be applied if minimum numbers not met for customer sites only)
