Lift Planning and Documentation Unit Standard 31904
Course Aim
This course is designed for dogman or crane/site supervisors that wish to obtain formal recognition in the area of lift planning and documentation.
It can be grouped together with our crane/site supervisors course if requested.
Course Overview
Theory and practical assessments covering the following:
- Plan and document lifts of regular and irregular loads
- Develop and document the lift plan
- Develop and document a lift plan for doing a tandem and/or multi-crane lift.
Prerequisites
- Unit Standard 3789 (Dogman) Sling varied regular loads and safely direct a crane
during crane operations. - If grouped with crane/site supervisors course the candidate must be in a role where they can demonstrate they are leading /supervising a team or working towards it with a current employer.

Attendance Numbers: Minimum 2 – maximum 4
Course Duration: Approx. 6-8hrs dependent on experience
Course Location: TBC
Course Costs: $1,200.00+gst per person
Mileage: $120.00+gst to Auckland, Hamilton & Tauranga and $1+gst per km everywhere else.
(Minimum number charges will be applied if minimum numbers not met)
