Sling regular loads and communicate during crane operations (Dogman) Refresher

Course Aim
This course is based on industry best practice and designed for people with experience in the rigging, slinging and crane operation environments.
Combining theory and practical assessments participants will demonstrate the following skills.
Course Overview
Theory and practical assessments covering the following:
- Calculate loads
- Inspect and evaluate lifting gear
- Identify hazards
- Explain lifting gear range charts
- Prepare and sling regular loads
- Communicate during crane operations including radios and hand signals
Prerequisites
- Knowledge of Slinging Regular Loads Safely – unit standard 30072
- Documented direction and communication of 40 lifts of a slewing crane
- Customer to provide suitable crane and lifting equipment (hire may be available at extra cost)

Attendance Numbers: Minimum 4, maximum 6
Course Duration: Approx. 1 day

Course Costs Option 1: $690.00+gst per person (use of your equipment)
Course Costs Option 2: $990+gst per person if conducted at our site using our crane and equipment
Course Costs Option 3: $1,100.00+gst per person (30072, 3789 combo) if conducted at your site using your crane and equipment booked on consecutive days
Course Costs Option 4: $1,400.00+gst per person (30072, 3789 combo) use of our crane and equipment if if conducted at our site booked on consecutive days
REFRESHER $450+gst per person (using your crane)
$700+gst per person (using our crane)
Mileage: $120.00+gst to Auckland, Hamilton & Tauranga and $1+gst per km everywhere else
(Minimum number charges will be applied if minimum numbers are not met)
