Course Aim
At the successful completion of this course a trainee will be able to: describe hazard and assess risks that may cause harm, explain health and safety requirements for hazard & risk control; describe hazard & risk control methods, identify hazards and apply risk assessment procedures. Including a Job safety analysis.
Course Overview
Theory lessons covering the following:
- Demonstrate knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation
- Ability to identify, control and monitor risks in the workplace
- Prepare and undertake a job safety analysis
- Understand how to describe the principles of health and safety risk assessment
- Application of health and safety risk assessment to a job role in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry good practice

Attendance Numbers: Minimum 4 – maximum 12

Course Cost: $288.00+gst per person
Mileage: $120.00+gst to Auckland, Hamilton & Tauranga and $1+gst per km everywhere else
